MONTANA poster

Image of MONTANA poster

Recently discovered, a limited number (fewer than 20) of the "MONTANA: One Hundred Years of Western Living" poster that I produced in 1989 celebrating 100 years of Montana statehood. The poster measures 24" wide by 20" deep and depicts a cowboy trailing a herd in southwest Montana's Snowcrest Mountains. The image was made from the back of a horse in the early dawn at a slow shutter speed and the resulting slight movement gives the photograph a soft, romantic feel. It is printed on heavyweight paper by master printers at Artcraft in Bozeman, Montana, thirty years ago using a varnished ink on MONTANA causing the letters to slightly shine. The posters have been protected from light for 30 years. Montana will turn 130 years of statehood on November 8, 2019. The poster will be signed and will ship in a heavy-weight shipping tube. First come, first serve. Ordering will stop when posters are gone. A perfect Christmas gift for someone who loves Montana and its western heritage.
